Websites that provide a registry for adding and browsing details of people trying to find people. Some people search registries are also housed offline and the organisation themselves does the matching and provides contact.
These can be a very handy addition when tracing someone. Whilst the results may not be the fastest means, they provide another avenue and hence another chance. Registries can cover a range of topics or a single one such as adoption. Some register will also only contain photos and not personally identifiable information.
